Who we are

Ingot Solutions is a software consultancy based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. For questions about this policy or about information we hold, contact contact@ingotsolutions.com.

What this website collects

Only what you type into the contact form: your name, email address, company name, and your message. That is sent to our inbox by email so that we can reply. It is not added to a mailing list, sold, or shared with anyone.

Our web host records standard server logs, including IP addresses, as part of operating and securing the site. We do not analyse these logs to build a picture of individual visitors.

What this website does not collect

• No analytics of any kind — no Google Analytics, no alternatives.
• No cookies.
• No tracking pixels, no advertising networks, no third-party embeds.
• No profiling, and no automated decision-making.

The site stores a single value in your browser’s local storage to remember whether you prefer the light or dark theme. It never leaves your device, is not sent to us, and identifies nothing about you. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Who processes it

• Microsoft Azure — hosts this website.
• Microsoft 365 — receives and stores the email your enquiry becomes.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms. We do not transfer your information to anyone else.

How long we keep it

Enquiries stay in our email for as long as the business relationship or the prospect of one is live, and are then deleted. If you would like yours removed sooner, ask and we will do it.

Client engagements

Where we are engaged to work on a client’s systems, any personal information we encounter belongs to that client, who remains responsible for it. We handle it only as needed to deliver the work, under the terms of that engagement.

Microsoft Marketplace enquiries

We list offerings on Microsoft Marketplace. If you ask about one of them there, Microsoft passes us your name, company, email address, and which listing you enquired about. We use it only to reply, on the same terms as an enquiry sent through this website: not added to a mailing list, not sold, not shared.

Our Marketplace offerings that deploy into your own Azure subscription send us nothing. The resources are created in your tenant, under your control, and we have no access to them unless you separately grant it.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law — the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act and Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act — you may ask us to confirm what information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. Email contact@ingotsolutions.com and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
